About Ballarat Newborn Photography
My name is Rebecca, but everyone calls me Bec, and I’ve been a photographer for 18 years now. A long time ago I studied professional photography at R.M.I.T Uni and then also went back for more training at Deakin Uni.
James and I have two children, Maya who is 7 and Remi, my baby, who is growing up too quickly!
Can we just pause time to keep them just so perfectly little forever? I’m pleased to say that I have lots of photos to help me to remember these precious everyday moments.
My home studio is based in Alfredton in Ballarat. It has beautiful natural light, which is how I like to capture my photographs for newborns and their families.
I’ve been trained extensively to ensure your baby is safely handled and posed. This is really important, as little limbs can only be moved in certain ways. Thank you for valuing professional photography by taking a look on my website.
My studio is clean and all items are washed before your session in natural baby safe detergents. The room is very warm to make sure your newborn’s temperature is maintained and that they don’t become unwell as we change their outfits or wraps.
I have a wide range of baby props, headbands, hats and backdrops for your baby photography session. We will chat about your preferred colours before you come in to make sure I fit in with your personal tastes.
Milestone and family photography sessions are also on offer. I love to capture photographs of toddlers and children having fun. Photographs of children playing with their siblings and parents are so fun! I like taking photos of kids just being kids! If your child is of a walking age we are best to photograph them on location in Ballarat so they can explore and roam, rather than having to be in a confined space. That way I can capture more relaxed, natural photos for you.
I hope to hear from you soon,
